fk me crysis wars was kind of bad but still fine and a fun game to play but now they've topped it by making crysis 2 SHIT.

FML, what they saw was the amount of profits COD was making, so they just made a better version of it. even those users reviews pretty much paint a picture of a prettier looking COD game

i say we all move back to crysis 1 imo . shit game this is gonna turn out to be...

Crysis Wars is no longer playable, crytek fucked it up.

crysis 1 is epic, i agree with syler, if they did't bring out crysis warhead, there would be still full servers in aus....only because some ppl upgraded and some ppl didn't

i loved the good old flying from one building to another and just messing around. sure it had its glitches, but those glitches were what made it awesome and all, the recoil was perfect, the gameplay fast. sure it required a good setup up but still the gameplay made up for it alot

For me i not getting my hopes up or getting excited with anticipation, every other developer saw what MW2 did and now they wanna get into the same cash cow, first sign was making it a console i have no dought they are porting it for saving cost.

Community patches wont fix it either, unless C2 implements a system similar to the source engine it people won't bother downloading a non-official patch to play the game (due to sheer laziness)
Crytek have sold out, simple as that.

naa, community patches will be a big hit i reckon. if they implement an auto downloader when you connect to the server to download a community patch then that would be sweet or just close the game and start the download autmatically.

they know how to ruin a perfectly good game tbh. i'm grateful for the good times i had on C1 and CWars

The only thin it will somehow safe the game if the auto downloaded works properly, if it doesn't the game community will die very fast.

I think Crysis 2 is MW2 mixed with Halo3

Patches would be awesome but would split it between the casual gamers who just enjoy it as it is and those who are nostalgic for Crysis 1. I personally will go either way as we don't know how good it'll be until we play it, but if patches come out to return gameplay to Crysis Wars style I'd jump on board

yeah they have to be restarted so they can be relogged onto gamespys system

I'm holding my judgement until i actually PLAY the game. Who knows, it could be the game of it's generation or just another shooter.

why does the army nano suit still need a UHF radio though? lol.

Alien nano suit? The one with blue eyes? Isnt that just the korean suit or whoever the opposing faction is this time around? I wonder how they are going to tie the story line of 1 to 2 since they've taken a slight direction change.

Don't think its Korean because crytek said they wanted to make the characteristics of the aliens more human, and why would the Korean army fly over to the enemy home to attack them? The aliens could of easily gotten a nanosuit and made versions of their own.

Might be wrong all together though.

I thought CELL was a new faction, or is that the Alien race?

The story doesn't sound very well thought out at all. Crytek better put their shit together.

It doesn't seem right to send your team of upgraded nanosuit soldiers to go after someone that stole a nanosuit 2 (which sounds like small upgrade to nanosuit 1) that is defending Newyork, wouldn't it be more beneficial to send them to fight against the aliens?
If your faced with Crynet soldiers and an alien pops up would the soldier shoot you or the alien? Their must be some agreement with you and Crynet to work together, doesn't look like the main character is out to steal the suit for money.

Maybe he steals it before the huge outburst of aliens in NYC. I think that's how the game will flow, fighting human characters more at the beginning and then the big bad aliens enter into it, same with in Crysis 1.

wouldn't it continue from there. like the island, then to NYC after?

At the end of Crysis 1 you are planning to go back to the island to defeat the rest of the aliens, and yeah Prophet is still back there.
It seemed like Crysis 2 would directly follow that but they have changed it all. You we're Nomad, but now you're Alcatraz and it's 2 years or something since Crysis 1.

Don't worry too much about knowing what's going on cause they are purposely making the story stand alone a lot for the sake of the dicky consoles. I would deff recommend playing Crysis 1 anyway, and we don't know, it might still be the better game lol.

ahhk i see, i thought it continued straight from the island then changed to a different time zone and place (NYC) and you become alcatraz.

will have to get around to playing the sp before the game comes out just in case.


and yes, im keeping my fingers crossed that the game won't turn into a fail.
