Works beautifully. Just disable the auto-open in itunes and everything else is purely automatic. Media players appear on the left under "portables" as soon as windows has located them. To sync them just click sync at the bottom.

cept for media playback i find the windows media player that comes with windows7 to be 100x better, which surprised me coz ive used winamp all my life. tho you cant sync to devices that i know of lol.

Yeah winamp is wicked awesome, been using since i had my Pentium 166 rolf, i had a crack at rockbox but i got sick i couldnt watch any of my ipod converted videos. And i found it is a slight less responsive that the crap install by default by Apple

video playback under rockbox is shit, at least for me
but once you know how to use it and the fact its drag n drop, its way better. plus you can make your own interface to look however you want it too, which i gladly experimented with. easy as shit to do
