gtx 275

as is i'm definatly in need of a new graphics card, i was first going to get a gtx295 but of course that fell through.
i can get 2 gtx 275' for less than the price of gtx295 and they run at the same speed when in sli and i have the money for that, but do you guys in all ur techno jiba jaba (gazz the allmighty) think it worth it or have better suggestion

not keen on waithing till sept-nov for them plus i should get 2200 in scholoship money which will probably go to a i7 setup

i would go and put the extra money inot a single card than sli as games need to be sli optimised to get the benefit from it.

in some scanarios SLI rapes, but imo stick with the one decent card (Unless you want to sli the GTX 295 then you are insane and have too much money to burn)

still the gtx 295 is 2 gpu so its just like buying a sli set anyways, unless the 2gig gtx 285 might be ok with 3 way sli and only 1 gpu
or the 1gig eVGA FTW 285 Very Happy

I would hold off, save a bit more money and buy the new Single PCB GTX295 (2 chips on one card vice current 295 style of 2 cards sandwiched together)

If your gonna buy anything now I would recommend the 2GB GTX 285. If you cant wait that is.
