Well I think I've found which title I'd prefer for multiplayer aspects, watching some of the videos too, they look pretty good, I've never really had much play of the battlefield series but my understanding is that its highly regarded as cod's rival.

agreed dessi, i have never played the battlefield series, but as talked about by other members its a popular game and has a good multiplayer, MW2 will be the most downloaded game ever, the SP will be great, especially when its free, wats bad company 2 look like??

graphics seem quite reasonable and gameplay looks somewhat fun

hmmm BF2 i reckon appart from BFV was one of the best battlefields. I grew up on BFV, and think its not really cods rival as such because you'll find more people playing BF2 than most other games still... there are 64 player servers full several of them. BF Bad Company looks alright but seems to look (from that top vid) like 2142 with the whole ice n snow n shit, i just hope its not a reapeat like 2142. (2142 was ok but died pretty quickly) however there are still a heap of ppl playing that also..

bad company 2 seems the same as bf2, correct me if I'm wrong but I remember you could always spawn your squad in a black hawk with mini-guns on the sides. Just as Nano said cod isn't battlefields rival, in many ways battlefield series is much more different than cod.
And it's a big + for clans because the scrims are very hectic.

first release of bad company wasn't all that, it is very different from all the other battlefield series, it was similar to dragon rising with out the 10,000 bugs and glitches.

i dl the demo on PS3 seeing it was a only consol release and had to say i didn't enjoy it that much

actually watching this trailer it is much better then the first release from what i can see, soo it just might b worth it.

BF1942 and BF2 were amazing games. The others in the series were not so good. The new BF1943 for PC should be the next big one before BF3.

Bad company was a bit of a spin of, but I havnt played it so not so sure.



IW have come out and tried to give good reasons about there multiplayer decisions buts it all just marketing/spin bullshit.
