i watched a few atlantis eps once. they were all about trying to get the shields up because the fish people we're shooting them from space.

If they made a series out of Aliens I would be alot happier. Gritty, darker, more blood shed, just more cool than star trek and SG1 which are like faggotry. Space is a dark evil place full of atrocious beigns, not some little fags in make up flyin round shootin happy beams at each other.

All these faggy laser weapons that can be set to 'stun'

Gimme a hardcore futuristic assault rifle that tears shreds of meat from the bones of the enemies.

and those photon torpedoes....

Gimme massive ion beam cannon ships that tear huge holes in spaceship hulls, gimme massive battery cannons with ionised artillery shells that can cripple a ship and tear it in two.

Thats why I loved homeworld and homeworld 2 from relic....huge spaceships, massive cannons, huge beams of destruction, gritty story (Come on how more grittier can it get then the whole genocide of your planet right at the start of the game.)

If ya haven't worked it out I think space would be a cunthole of a place lol
