yea sweet cars, I own a SC300/Soarer and they are just classy as! Going to have it back on the road after 7 months of sitting idle.....so far the car has had 1.7 years of sitting idle in its life lol. So in the time that I've owned it since september 2006 i've only drove it 30000km that's roughly 10000km a year and it did most of that driving to and from perth in one year.

I have had a couple of issues though, I managed to crack the k frame when I mounted a median strip I didnt notice since the car is so low. replaced a clutch and have had tire issues since it was too low and bodykit issues too.

But now it's sitting tight in the shed, intercooler next to it, front bar on the floor, side mount intercooler unhooked, ready for a new thermo fan(replace the engine fan, less inertia on engine), new oxy sensor and new iridium spark plugs. Probably flush all the oils out and replace them.

This is my pride and joy and I would stab anyone to death in a harsh way if they harmed it.

Nice I love Any thing Toyota and Lexus man, i have got a 1988 toyota trueno 4agze with oversized pully kit running at 14 psi need to change my water pump ,and adjustable cam gear dobi spings and gt monrowe gas shocks on 17" MAxx, 3 puk clutch plate and heavy duty clutch, dosnt go to wel in the wet lol.

I was thinking about getting a soarer, but here the v8s only come auto and the straights 6s dont come supercharged any more, you get the twin turbo's but then u need to do a single turbo convetion, so i am looking around for a 1988 toyota soarer witha sc14 on it but its a hard to come by these days.

mutiny, just a little trivial info on soarers....250rwkws is possible with original turbos and has been proven ...thats alot of mambo for the dollar youd spend. So the twin turbo is def a wicked choice...I've got the rare factory 5 speed manual too. Once I get it out of the shed and on the road again I'll take some up-to-date photo's. U bloody kiwis get imports so much cheaper than us aussies...stupid import tax

It wouldnt be much past 160 RWKW at this stage but that's nothing to sneeze at still, we are talking about a 91 model so it's an awesome figure for close to stock.

She's the only performance related car I've owned but overall I would say it's the funniest ride and most comfortable I've been in, the only time I've had decent fun in another car was when I got my old VN V6 to drift around a bend at 100km/h with it's single spinner actually holding out and not spinning me out of control.
